Engineering Assistant

The Intern will first learn similar tasks required of PCN's Operations staff such as supering programming, recording feeds, and typing graphics. This will provide a foundation for understanding the procedures and methods within the department. From there the Intern will be instructed in signal flow, routing, and quality control using various scopes and meters. Other opportunities to learn and observe are: microwave/satellite transmission and truck operation and equipment maintenance.
