Lock Haven

July 16, 2010

Comcast will be delivering PCN digitally in Lock Haven as of July 27. This move will not change PCN's current channel allocation and will only affect customers without digital equipment.

In order to continue viewing PCN’s programming without interruption, customers in the affected area who do not have digital equipment can call 1-800-COMCAST or stop by their local Comcast Service Center to receive one set-top box at no additional cost.

As part of Comcast’s initiative to deliver its programming digitally to give customers more high definition channels, On Demand choices and faster Internet speeds, channel moves like the ones made in southeastern, western and now south central and central Pennsylvania will continue throughout the rest of this year. As this digital upgrade continues, Comcast will provide advance notice to customers in all affected areas.

For more than five years, PCN has been contributing content to Comcast’s local On Demand service for digital cable subscribers, allowing them to watch the PIAA state basketball and other sports championships, PCN Tours, PA Books, PCN Profiles and Weather World whenever they want by selecting the “Get Local” and “PCN” folder under the “News and Information” menu selections.
